Kim doo-Bong , jewelry and accessories designer and CEO of Dyu-Bong Jewelry, is hosting an exhibition of his latest jewelry creations.
The exhibition will be held at the Insaart Center in the Special Gallery during Family Month - the first week of May.

This is Mr. Kim`s third solo exhibition and is planed to carry on the theme of 'Happiness' with a special focus on the idea of 'Happy Day'.
His previous exhibition were focused on 'Keep love in mind' and 'Love story in Nature' The first of these 'Happiness' exhibitions was announced 2003.

You can observe the changes in design and trends of Dyu-Bong Jewelry merely by walking through the sequence of the arranged exhibition space.
Byu-Bong Jewelry are created using only the finest materials of precious metals(18K, 14K, S/S 92.5) and natural gemstones.
I pour my heart into all my creations which are all hand-made.

If you look around the artworks, you can sense my unique and distinct style manifest in all my jewelry design. With a view to completing
my own style, I employed the use of semi precious gemstones and occasionally using precious gemstones(Diamond, Ruby, Sapphire etc.),
I have been pioneer among Jewelry makers. I have distinguished myself from others in my use of splendid and gorgeous combinations which
distinctively utilize freely mixed patterns and subtle yet exquisite details and the symmetry.

Also, it is characteristic of me to concentrate on contemporary modernity such as broaches inspired by images from nature and the necklaces
collection is inspired by images of blooming flowers on a windy day. using streamlined shapes also inspired by natural images I have created
a distinctive line of Promise Cocktail rings in all sizes. My Promise Cocktail rings incorporate the beauty of nature and thereby more truly
reflect the Love Story behind every Promise Cocktail ring. I minimize the artificial sense by using natural
images which further distinguishes the Dyu-Bong brand.

I am artist and Jewelry designer. And I represent "Dyu-Bong" Jewelry; I also am an adjunct professor at The College of Fine Arts at Won-Kwang university.
Moreover, I majored in metalcraft at Won-Kwang university and achieved a master`s degree metalcraft at the graduate school of industry at the same university.

장신구 디자이너 김두봉(듀봉 대표)씨가 아트와 화인주얼리 작품으로 제3회 개인전이 가정의 달 오월의 첫 주에 인사아트센터에서"행복한 하루"란 주제로 개최한다.
이번 개인전은 '행복'이란 테마와 사랑을 간직하다, 자연속의 사랑이야기의 섹션으로 나누어 2003년 이후 제작 발표한 작품 순에 맞춰 기획하였다.
귀금속(18K,14K,S/S 92.5 )천연보석의 소재와 핸드메이드의 정성을 담아 완성된 장신구로서 전시공간을 따라 순서대로 발길을 옮기는 것만으로도
듀봉 주얼리의 스토리와 트렌드의 변화를 절로 읽을 수 있다.

작품을 둘러보면 듀봉이 지닌 고유의 특별함을 고스란히 느낄 수 있다. 3대보석(다이아,루비,사파이어)외에 준보석의 독특한 스타일을 완성하기 위해
남들보다 일찍이 과감하게 사용해 왔던 점, 화려하고 다양한 컬러콤비네이션으로 개성적인 차별화에 나셨던 점,
사랑과 자연을 회상시키는 미묘하고 섬세한 디테일과 대칭형 등 패턴의 자유로운 조합 등을 볼 수 있다.

또한, 자연의 모티브로 제작한 브로치들과 식물의 탄생에서 영감을 받은 바람 부는 날의 네크리스 컬렉션. 크고 작은 유선을 혼합한 프로미스 칵테일반지의
러브 스토리 등 동시대의 모더니티에 집중했던 점이 특징이다. 인위적인 감각을 최소화 하고 자연의 아름다움을 담은 듀봉 브랜드 콘셉트가 녹아 있는 듯하다.

원광대학교에서 금속공예를 전공, 동 산업대학원에서 석사학위를 받은 김두봉 디자이너는 "듀봉" 주얼리 대표와 원광대 미술대학의 겸임교수를 맡고 있다.
